      Candidates Night set for Oct. 27 in Lincroft

      The Lincroft Village Green Association (LVGA) is hosting a Candidates Night 7-9 p.m. Oct. 27 at Lincroft School on Newman Springs Road. The candidates for Middletown Township Committee and the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders will answer questions presented by the League of Women Voters and compiled by members of the LVGA. The public is welcome to attend. Forms will be provided at the door prior to opening statements for any township or county residents to submit questions for the candidates. Questions may also be submitted prior to the event date through an online form at www.lincroft.org. At the discretion of the moderator, questions will be chosen and presented to the candidates as time permits. Middletown Township Committee candidates expected to attend are Anthony Fiore (Republican), Carol Fowler (Democrat), James Grenafege (Democrat), Richard Morrill (independent) and Stephanie Murray (Republican).

      The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders candidates are Thomas Markowski (independent), Patrick Noble (Socialist Party USA), Gary Rich (Republican) and William Shea (Democrat).

      Parking is available at Lincroft School and also at Thompson Park athletic fields, just west of Lincroft School.
