UNICO fundraiser to benefit local woman

The Lincroft Chapter of UNICO, an ItalianAmerican service organization, will host a benefit for Middletown resident Jean Gaeta, who is undergoing treatment for mesothelioma, Feb. 2 from 5 p.m. to closing at Ninette's Italian restaurant and pizzeria, 908 Shrewsbury Ave., Tinton Falls. Fifteen percent of the evening's proceeds will be donated to offset expenses for Gaeta, who has worked with special-needs students in township schools and as a real estate agent. There will also be a raffle for an Italian fine food basket and a silent auction.
