Resident says thanks for sign removal Resident says thanks I would like to thank Mayor Rosemarie Peters, the Middletown Township Committee, the Monmouth County Freeholders, and Monmouth County Engineer Ted Giannechini for removing the sign "Residential Neighborhood Cut-Through Traffic Subject to $70 fine and 2 pts." on Swimming River Road in Lincroft. Thank you for understanding how offensive this sign was for Swimming River Road and area residents. The new signage, $70 fine and 2 pts. attached to the "no left turn" signs is appropriate, and conveys the proper message to motorists. Again, thank you. Walter L. Horan Lincroft section of Middletown |
