Fifth-graders to learn about bike helmet safety The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office and representatives of the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey will give presentations on bicycle helmet safety at two local schools during April. The program will be given to fifth-graders at Leonardo Elementary School April 1, and Middletown Village School April 3. Students will also be asked to join in a creative writing and art poster contest, with winners receiving bicycle helmets. For more information on the program, call Monmouth County Sheriff Joseph W.
