Lincroft residents should be proud of efforts

On Sept. 11, an unimaginable horror struck the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. All over America, people felt helpless. Our president called on all Americans to stand strong and united.

The good people of Lincroft Village and its surrounding neighbors showed that strength on Sept. 14 and 15. We would like to thank all the wonderful people that donated generously to help the rescue efforts.

We would like to send a special thanks to Concrete Plus, Lincroft, for the use of its trailer and generous monetary donations.

All monetary donations that were made went directly to purchasing welding torches and heavy equipment. Guy Ortiz and Vincent Simone volunteered and drove the equipment to ground zero at the World Trade Center. We would like to pass on all the appreciation of the police, firefighters and rescue workers.

The people of Lincroft Village can be very proud of their efforts.
